Utterly Bhutan

Independent travel. Utterly bespoke. At your pace. To your taste.

Experience

Bhutan is the path less traveled, so knowing when, where and how to go to have the best experience can be overwhelming.

We can help. We will plan as much or as little as you need for your bespoke itinerary, with expert guides on hand, suited to your tastes and pace.
For a unique and unforgettable experience.

Most itineraries follow the Primary National Highway (PNH) that runs east to west from Paro, through Thimphu, on to Punakha, Trongsa and on to Bumthang, with a small detour to Phobjikha Valley.

The majority of standard itineraries are an out and back from Paro to Punakha or Bumthang, with very few visitors getting to the East.

Get off the well-trodden path and take advantage of the domestic flights between Paro and Bumthang (Central Bhutan), and Yonphula (East Bhutan), as each region of Bhutan has its own culture, language, customs, food and charm.
